Safety System Software (S3)

Overview

Safety System Software (S3) is a human-machine interface (HMI) software package that allows data to be acquired from the Eagle Quantum Premier® (EQP) safety system controller for event and alarm tracking, display on custom graphics and to be shared with other systems.

Also, the Sallows system operators to configure all connected device operating parameters through its intuitive graphical interface. This graphic operating environment greatly simplifies the creation of logic for gas and fire detection, fire suppression and annunciation.

When your requirements demand full communications among other existing facility systems, S3 is available with an Object Linking and Embedding for Process Control (OPC) server. This software layer enables communication of safety-system data from devices connected to the EQP system to distributed control systems and other OPC-compliant systems.

For all system-compatible field devices, Sprovides:

  • Unique Point Displays, which are graphical screens that organize and display information in an easy-to-read format 
  • Real-time sensor status of all addressable devices with a superimposed one-minute running trend over the alarm set points
  • On applicable devices, calibration history is also available for maintenance and compliance records
